Original mahogany rudder and tiller wall art, circa 1900

• Beautiful original mahogany rudder and tiller.
• Ideal as a central feature piece of wall art.
• Original polished wood surfaces and lightly restored brass and bronze fittings.

Using this beautiful mahogany rudder and tiller as the central feature we have produced a piece of wall art that will look great on its own with its polished wood surfaces and lightly restored brass and bronze fittings.

This circa 100 year old rudder will look great on a wall in your home especially if you live near the sea and equally well in a nautical themed pub or restaurant, a real piece of living history.

Alternatively it can be supplied fitted with either one, two or three semi-circular glass shelves upon which your nautical antique collectables can be displayed.

Originally used on a shallow draught barge this rudder is fitted with a retractable lower segment that can be stowed or lowered dependant on the depth of water available.

Dimensions:
Height: 47” (119cm)
Width: 20” (50cm) and the tiller is 50” (130cm) long

Like all Cherished Parts pieces the donor item is an original from the period stated, all we have done is a little light polish and commissioned the glass shelves and support brackets.

For uk customers we will be pleased to deliver and install this piece in your home, office or pub/restaurant. Overseas customers should call to discuss the options.

Option: This rudder can be supplied with one large shelf for use as a drinks table in a pub or restaurant.
